Camille : ?Nous, on a Madame Léopard !

Ensuite, on pourra chercher à comprendre POURQUOI?

Camille : ?Nous, on a Madame Léopard !

Ensuite, on pourra chercher à comprendre POURQUOI?

In addition to her inspiring story of overcoming, if something made the lawyer an icon, it was an aesthetic bet based on daring and sexuality. A look that made her the target of prejudice and ridicule from her colleagues in the courts, but it ended up becoming a hallmark and an essential weapon of their legal strategy. 21 years after the premiere of the film, his story returns to the screens with Rebel, a ten-episode series that landed this May 28 on the Disney + platform.

Katey Sagal, known for playing the indomitable matriarch of the motorcycle club of Sons of Anarchy, plays a transcript of the untitled attorney named Annie Bello who works for social justice without rest or reservation. Also starring Andy García and created by Krista Vernoff (Grey’s Anatomy), Brockovich serves as an executive producer and is pleased that the fiction is inspired by her activist performance during the two decades after the release of a film that became a global success. ?I am older, wiser and more evolved. I approach cases with different ways and approaches, but I am still as frustrated as ever for being undervalued or pigeonholed ?, declared in a recent interview with the consultant, who has published two books and starred in a docureality on the rights of citizens called Final justice.

?I heard many comments about my breasts, my cleavage, the way I dress, my language? but I didn’t have time for them. They were poisoning people, they were responsible and they knew it. So, screw them! That was my true position on the matter ?, declared Brockovich to the magazine Vulture about the care and moral judgments to which she was subjected. While her colleagues looked at her tits and her colleagues criticized the length of her skirt, the young native of Kansas broke with all the archetypes of the conservative world of law, incarnating in a modern David who defeated the corporate Goliath. “What matters is inside,” he defended.

A thirty-year-old, mother of three and divorced on many other occasions, dyslexic and without studies in the matter, former model and beauty queen on the Pacific coast got a job at the law firm due to an accident ?a traffic, specifically?. After hiring the services of the Masry & Vititoe law firm to represent her in the case, Brockovich ended up landing a position as an assistant in the company and, while organizing the paperwork, uncovered a case that ended up becoming the largest civil lawsuit in history. of the country to date. Her investigation found that the energy company Pacific Gas & Electric had concealed the contamination of the waters of the town of Hinkley for 30 years, ending up in the hospital herself due to the toxins. After years of lawsuits and meetings, the ruling was favorable and the multinational had to compensate the 600 plaintiffs with 242 million euros, about half a million dollars per affected.

His power dressing it was a far cry from the one popularized by Melanie Griffith in Guns for Women a decade earlier. Collared tops halter, flowery bodices, tiny leather miniskirts, bras push up with leopard print and dizzying stilettos. His portrait could appear in the British dictionary next to the definition of the adjective brassy, which the specialized press repeated incessantly in articles about her figure and which is used to describe “the woman who laughs and speaks too loudly, who puts on too much makeup and wears cheap and shiny clothes.” What in Spanish we would call a mix between ordinary and tacky.

Such was Brockovich’s pride in his wardrobe that, when he went to the screening of the film, he only complained about one aspect. “The only thing that is imprecise is that the skirts are not short enough,” she told the film’s director, Steven Soderbergh. Ed Masry, Brockovich’s boss at the law firm that made her an icon, also lamented about Roberts being cast as the lead. “Her tits are too small and her tongue is not very dirty,” she claimed, suggesting the option of Goldie Hawn as the ideal casting.

The role of Erin Brockovich provided Roberts with his only statuette to date. Photo: Universal

The importance of styles for the environmental activist is also reflected in one of the film’s most memorable scenes, when Ed (played by Albert Finney) suggests Erin rethink her way of dressing due to the ?discomfort? that her wardrobe has created in some of his companions. ?Well, it just so happens that I think it looks good on me. And as long as my ass is not an elephant, I will wear whatever I want, if you don’t mind ?, she defends herself, not only leaving her mentor without reply, but also urging him to rethink his taste for ties. In another sequence, when the lawyer asks his assistant how he intends to obtain key but confidential information for the case, she answers in an exhaustive way: “They call them boobs, Ed.”

The provocativeness of the costumes even scared Julia Roberts herself, who feared that she would be seen by viewers as an artistic license who sought to take advantage of the attractiveness of the most popular actress on earth at that time. ?We wanted him to be seen as as much an integral part of her as her hair or her voice. We didn’t want them to think, ‘Oh, we’ve hired someone with very long legs, so we’re going to put on the shortest skirts known to mankind.’ Roberts, who won her only Oscar for best actress thanks to this role, also took a while to get used to appearing on set in these outfits, despite another bold and iconic wardrobe, that of Pretty Woman, made her a star. ?I have things in my closet that I would call dresses. Erin has things on hers that she would call a dress. The final ‘two’, that which usually covers your ass, is what is missing ?, he evoked in the magazine Entertainment Weekly.

This is perhaps one of the most anticipated releases of 2021, but also one of the films that most divided opinions. However, for those who followed the resounding launch of Matrix, in 1999, going to theaters to see the long-awaited sequel is inevitable. Despite presenting inconsistency in the development of supporting actors and the absence of large action sequences, the production manages to self-irony effectively. In this way, we come across an entertaining film that both deconstructs the Matrix and restructures the universe according to the director’s changes in these two decades that have passed.

The director introduces us to the story of a Korean-American family who move to Arkansas in an attempt to live the American dream. The film shows the difficulties faced by them in a different culture, as well as differences between the three family generations.

Like the ravenous appetites of the title character of Hannibal, Gaumont Television USA intends to make a meal of their former CEO with an amended countersuit filed just now.

Since former Gaumont International Television boss Katie O?Connell Marsh took her old employers to court in early 2018 over potentially millions of dollars in contested profit participation, the parties have been slicing away at each other with a barrage of documents full of disqualification motions, confidentiality violations rumbles and protective orders.

Well, with a trial on the books for August next year, the Stateside subsidiary of the oldest film company in the world brought a canon to that knife fight on Friday in the form of a biting breach of contract and fraud cross-complaint on the docket in Los Angeles Superior Court.

?Gaumont will not sit idly by while its reputation ? built up over the course of 129 years ? is attacked without cause,? declares the multi-claim filing in LASC today against the former CEO who ran the Narcos and Hannibal producing US arm of the company for its first five years. ?Marsh, her new company, their backers and enablers have engaged in a clear and continued campaign of wrongful conduct. They will be held to account.?

Industry vet O?Connell Marsh was the first employee of the LA-based division nearly a decade ago. She held the reigns from Gaumont International Television?s inception in 2010 until the now Platform One Media chief was suddenly pink slipped in a corporate re-org in 2015 a year before the second expected re-upping of her three year contract was set to occur.

Also, this is not the first response Gaumont has filed in the case. A previous move was trimmed by an state judge. However, as today is the latest deadline for both post-mediation sides to get their latest version of events on the docket ? and Gaumont look to be first to file.

?Not content to have absconded with Gaumont?s confidential information and interfered with its partner, Marsh found an attorney, her current litigation counsel, together with whom they have deliberately and continually worked to damage Gaumont with even more false and defamatory claims and this ill-advised lawsuit in which she alleges that she is entitled to tens of millions of dollars because she claims she has a profit participation definition which, if believed, would be the best definition in the history of the television industry,? the somewhat redacted 32-page injunction and wide-spread damages action asserts. BTW ? the ?partner? in question is Evolution Media Capitol and that attorney is the much employed John Berlinski of Kasowitz Benson Torres and formerly of NBCUniversal.

Claiming that she essentially put Gaumont in the game when it comes to American TV, and noting they hadn?t produced any new series in the first two years since her exit, O?Connell Marsh alleged in her January 2018 suit that she took a smaller salary to receive around 2.5% of Modified Adjusted Gross Receipts on the shows she oversaw.

The ex-DreamWorks Animation exec also said this was baked into her severance agreement. Yet, O?Connell Marsh, as her own filings refer to the initial plaintiff, stated that while ?Gaumont has received substantial gross receipts from the projects Ms. O?Connell Marsh?s developed, Ms. O?Connell Marsh has yet to receive a single MAGR payment in connection with any of the series she brought to the screen.?

Not so much, say Gaumont and their lawyers at Plonsker Law LLP and Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP.In fact, the plaintiffs in the just filed cross-complaint say that mega-MAGR pay-out was never a part of O?Conner Marsh?s 2010 deal nor her 2013 renegotiation ? and she wants to keep that out of the lawsuit or rather now, lawsuits. ?Her efforts to prove the unprovable include preventing witnesses such as the attorneys that negotiated her MAGR definition from testifying about their own interpretation of her MAGR definition, which is believed to be consistent with Gaumont?s.?

Definitely not so much, says Katie O?Connell Marsh?s lawyer in response to today?s new cross-complaint.

?Gaumont?s frivolous allegations are a transparent attempt to distract from the very real claims that Gaumont intentionally cheated the person who developed what to date?four years after her departure?remain Gaumont?s only successful television series,? asserts John Berlinski

Before this latest filing by Gaumont and a delay on the trial kicking off on October 21, the parties were set to be in court on October 30 for a motion on summery judgement. That too has been taken off the calendar and now both sides are going to be face-to-face on December 3 for a hearing on the latest motion for a protective order ? or not.

Shirley Temple embodied in her childhood the prototype of what we now call broken toy: fame that annuls childhood, parents who run an unknown business, exorbitant economic income that disappears, interests of all and for all, use until slavery … and a career that little by little fades as the years and the A girl becomes a teenager, then a young man, and finally a woman.

Natural beauty, self-assurance, devilish curly hair, conspicuous dimples, and tap dancing skills almost as she learned to walk made Shirley Temple the most successful child actress in movie history for her skills. But that fame also caused her a lot of pain in that rushed life within a childhood that she did not enjoy like other girls her age. For example, on one of his birthdays he received 135,000 toys from all over the world (including a baby kangaroo and a cow), but he also suffered an assassination attempt or the disappointment of ceasing to believe in Santa Claus when he asked for an autograph …

However, despite what at first glance may seem like a traumatic childhood on a roller coaster of experiences, Shirley always brought her movie roles to real life to please and make everyone feel good. She enjoyed her new life in adulthood as a mother, wife, and later as a grandmother, and began a new career dedicated to public service as a political activist. In this new facet, she held different positions in the diplomatic area such as defender of the Environment in the United Nations, ambassador of Ghana and the former Czechoslovakia and, finally, as head of Protocol of the United States in the White House. Without a doubt, a movie life in which only in the end did she play the role of her choice.

Shirley Jane Temple He was born on April 23, 1928 in Santa Monica, California (United States). She was the youngest of three brothers and the only girl. His mother was a housewife and his father, without studies, worked in a bank. From a young age, Temple showed ability to dance and song, so at the age of three her mother decided to enroll her in a dance school. As chance would have it, a director of casting who saw her in class, offered her a contract to appear in short films. In them little Shirley wore attractive costumes and had to imitate icons of the big screen of the time such as Marlene Dietrich, Mae West and Dolores del Río. In this way, Temple quickly attracted the attention of a major film studio.

Temple’s mother took advantage of the girl’s natural talents to exploit her strengths, and her father became her agent and financial advisor. Shirley signed a contract with Fox Film Corporation and when she was 6 years old she appeared in her first Hollywood feature film, titled Carolina.

The petite actress, singer, and tap dancer with golden corkscrew curls and contagious joy became almost overnight a sensation and the main source of income for the film studio, which she saved from bankruptcy.

Shirley Temple was synonymous with assured box office success. She was even awarded an Oscar for her performance with the tune On the Good Ship Lollipop in the film Bright Eyes of 1934, becoming, even today, the youngest actress to receive the Hollywood statuette. In that year of 1934 he starred in a dozen films. He also has that precocious record since stamping his hand and footprints on the outside of Grauman’s Chinese Theater.

During one of the worst economic recessions in the country, the Great Depression, the little girl became a symbol of optimism, with her films focused on jovial themes that provided Americans an escape during difficulties. American President Franklin D. Roosevelt called Temple the little miss miracle for raising the morale of citizens in times of economic difficulties, even going so far as to say that “as long as our country has Shirley Temple we will be fine.”

In 1940, when she was 12 years old, little Shirley Temple had already participated in 43 films, but she was still underpaid. In the beginning he charged $ 10 a day and then went on to charge $ 150 a week. To maintain your success, her mother at night subjected her to harsh sessions to make her curls perfect and instead of falling asleep with stories she learned the roles for the next day. When he was of legal age and wanted to have his money, the millions of dollars raised had remained in just 40,000 in his account due to the management that his father had made of his career.

Among her anecdotes, some funny, some cruel and others sad and dangerous, are that on her eighth birthday, which was actually her ninth, because the study falsified her age to make her look younger, she received 135,000 toys from around the world. Or that at the age of six she stopped believing in Santa Claus when her mother took her to see him in a store and he asked her for my autograph. In 1939 a woman tried to assassinate her during a live radio interview because she claimed that she had stolen her 10-year-old daughter’s soul and that the only way to free her was by killing the artist …

Such a short and meteoric career also led to rumors, such as that she was a dwarf in disguise, something that the Vatican itself denied by sending a priest who verified that she was a very talented girl.

The Temple brand, meanwhile, was used on all kinds of popular products and also contributed to their revenue. Her fans owned her brand of clothing, books, bags, sheet music, dolls and soap, but as Shirley grew older and older, her appeal as a child star waned and she became a young woman more interested in getting married than in cinema.

At 19, Shirley played Susan Turner in The bachelor and the adolescent, with Cary Grant and Myrna Loy. Although the film received critical acclaim, audiences had a hard time accepting that its little miracle girl it was growing. After his 1948 appearance alongside John Wayne in Fort Apache He only had small appearances on television. At the age of 22, in 1950, he retired from the film industry as a Hollywood icon.

He joined the Republican Party and ran for a seat in Congress. Although he did not win, his campaign marked the beginning of a long and productive political career in which he played a crucial role in negotiations and in international diplomatic relations.
Green Pass and tattoos: the new European regulations on pigments and Green Pass

«The colors for tattoos used up to now in professional studios – he begins Marco Manzo, an internationally renowned Roman tattoo artist – complied with the European Resap 2003 and later 2008 resolutions; therefore they were certified non-toxic and sterile and considered safe. All those who until now have been tattooed in color should not be afraid: in fact, Europe already had the most stringent regulations in the world regarding pigments in force, so getting a tattoo in Europe was already a great guarantee. The will of the EU on this occasion is to make the world of tattooing even safer, continuing a tradition of attention to our sector “.

The colored pigments for tattoos will therefore not disappear, they will be reintroduced on the market with the new formulations in accordance with the law, probably, from what the manufacturers say, between 15 and 30 January. As of today, January 11, to the best of my knowledge, the black color certified according to Reach has arrived in the tattoo studios of Europe.

Some companies are already putting colors on the market, but we are still waiting for the safety data sheets in Italian. Suppliers who place on the market mixtures intended for tattooing practices must indicate: the words “MIXTURE FOR TATTOOS OR PERMANENT MAKE-UP”.

Color Tattoos: don’t worry, just more confidence

The list of ingredients compliant with the nomenclature of common names of ingredients, the words “CONTAINS NICKEL, MAY CAUSE ALLERGIC REACTIONS” if the mixture contains nickel in quantities LOWER than the established limits; the same goes for Chromium;
the instructions for use on the packaging in addition, another safety guarantee for the user is the fact that the downstream user (operator) shares the legal responsibilities of the manufacturer / distributor for non-compliance with REACH.

It should be emphasized that the old pigments, now banned for tattoo artists, can continue to be used in the medical field for the execution of corrective tattoos on the scarring of operations of former cancer patients, for example for the reconstruction of the mammary areola following mastectomy, therefore on subjects considered fragile, as proof of their safety “.

Green Pass and Tattoos: everything you need to know

To all this, from January 20, the obligation of a Green Pass is added for anyone accessing local services for the person, including tattoo and piercing studios. “For customers, from January 20 the obligation to show the green pass to access a tattoo and / or piercing studio will come into force: in addition to this, as has always been the case in our studio, as per guidelines, to avoid gatherings or potentially dangerous situations we welcome customers by appointment only for both tattoos and piercings and that, on the day of execution, the customer must go to the studio alone, unless it is a minor or a disabled person, for whom a companion is allowed and must be communicated in advance. In addition, in our office we have air sterilizers and 96% filtered air in the rooms, as happens in operating rooms “.

Manzo concludes: ?My advice for tattoo and piercing enthusiasts is to contact only authorized professionals in the sector, who are controlled and can give the maximum safety guarantees to customers. European standards have introduced the penalty for illegal abusers, who could use pigments that do not comply with the law or come from parallel markets, which is highly unlikely in professional firms ?.

Late, yes! Punisher, too!

The Netflix show Emily in Paris has been a BURST for 2 seasons! One of the most watched and resonated series on the platform, yesterday won 2 more seasons and, when I posted on Instagram that I loved this patacoada, a lot of people interacted practically freeing themselves and feeling relieved that someone ~publicly liked it too.

You know, EIP is practically a guilty pleasure, a real ?speak badly, but speak of me?, after all, the costumes are highly criticized, the script and plots are not that far-fetched, the acting in some cases is ridiculous and there are still several customs issues that hurt the French. That said, I’ll say what I have: fashion!

Emily in Paris has everything I love about a show: superficial script, amazing scenery and fashion. But if for a moment we expected costumes à la Carrie Bradshaw or Blair Waldorf, we were sorely mistaken. And it all starts there, the expectation.

Emily Cooper was not born into a splendid birth, she is an authentic midwestern American girl, she is not cosmopolitan, but she is fascinated by her work in the luxury market, therefore, a greater involvement with brands and money. I’ve already said that I’m inspired by Serena van der Woodsen and certainly that episode in Paris by GG guided her thinking… and the costume designer.

Cut to Patricia Field, the show’s costume designer, who gained fame for “creating” another authentic fashionista, Carrie Bradshaw and her Sex and the City squad. The legendary Pat gave herself body and soul to the hit Netflix and in an interview defends the character and actress, Lily Collins, tooth and nail.

She reveals that in fact the character is loaded with paint, exaggerates the colors, mixes contemporary brands with vintage collection, dares in shapes and proportions. He also says that, if Carrie has Manolo, he answered Lily’s request and inserted Louboutin as the character’s favorite. Now, the costume designer’s favorite are the gloves used by Emily, which, according to her, is to make a renegade fashion item happen that has fallen into disuse. (note: Patricia has a signed line of gloves for sale).

And it is in this whole scenario that the playful, cartoonish, obvious and still surprising side comes in: Emily’s costume, a dazzled girl, albeit naive, but much of the talarica wouldn’t be perfect like Carrie’s or Serena’s own. Her charm is in her explicit fashionism, which borders on the funny and confirms the tacky, but let’s face it, adorable tackiness.

I love the show precisely for being exaggerated, unpretentious, for having an almost dopamine fashion without us imagining that we would need this escape valve in times of a pandemic. The 2 seasons were at the height of the covid terror in which we live, hence wanting to take seriously only a youth series with super production and low expectations? it’s too much to ask!

A lot of people even said that Patricia Field had lost her hand and her reason, but I think it was all calculated for season 1 and, given the success and repercussion, 2 came just as strong and exaggerated. I confess that I would like to see Emily’s style evolve, after all, months have passed in Paris, but she keeps oscillating between a Chanel look and any leggings.

Now if they think that Pat is not the same anymore, that nothing, she proves through SYLVIE and CAMILLE that her good taste and faithful reproduction of the Parisian style remain intact. In an interview, she said that she turned to French costume professionals to do justice to the choices and the result we can see and AÍ SIM admires two legitimately stylish women.

The series was so successful that in the midst of it all ‘And just like that’ resurfaced and Patricia didn’t do anything in 2 productions, the costume designer chose to stay in Paris and strengthen the essence of Emily and her gang!

Here are five facts about the divorce news of Kalina Oktarani and Vicky Prasetyo that MNC Portal Indonesia has summarized from various sources, Tuesday (11/1/2022).

1. Vicky Prasetyo signals separation

Vicky Prasetyo once uploaded a confused sentence on Instagram Story. He also apologized for all his mistakes because he couldn’t be a good leader. This upload is what triggers the issue of household rifts that often spread on social media.

“Finally all stopped at the age of one year. Sorry for all the mistakes as the captain on this boat trip,” wrote Vicky on Instagram Story.

2. Kalina Oktarani is moving house

The farewell signal got stronger when Kalina Ocktaranny uploaded a photo of the two-story house that was supposed to be hers on her Instagram Story. Kalina also said that she would occupy the house in the near future.

The reason is, the house is not too far from the residence of her ex-husband, Deddy Corbuzier. So, he can be close to his only son, Azka Corbuzier.

“Bismillah, give mama a little more time to keep my promise to you, okay cha. So that I can stay close to you again, Mama’s love,” he continued.

Kalina had admitted to being single in Instagram Story. At that time, he was having dinner with his two best friends, Denise Chariesta and Ivan Gunawan. Not wanting to miss the moment, Kalina then made a story on her Instagram.

“He he he, ouch, I am….” replied Kalina Oktarani.

Apparently, Kalina slipped up when she said that. Although the mother of one child was reluctant to answer, Ivan concluded that Kalina’s marriage to Zaskia Gotik’s ex-fiancee was indeed over. He even immediately thanked him to hear the news.

“How come I missed it?” continued Ivan.

“You don’t have to talk about it, can you?” Kalina asked.

4. Vicky Prasetyo said Kalina asked to be separated

The news of Vicky and Kalina’s marital breakdown was further strengthened by Vicky’s statement that said Azka Corbuzier’s mother did intend to separate from him. The reason is, Deddy Corbuzier’s ex-wife is no longer able to deal with it.

“Yes, he asked to be separated. He was starting to feel like he couldn’t,” said Vicky Prasetyo in a television station program.

The reason is that Kalina feels jealous seeing Vicky surrounded by beautiful women every time she works. Moreover, Angel Lelga’s ex-husband had time to eat alone with the woman. Not long after, Kalina also expressed her intention to part with Vicky.

“He was jealous of my friend’s partner problem at an event. Even though I was just hanging out, let’s go play, eat at a Korean stall,” said Vicky Prasetyo.
