I am making this painful decision due to the recent dismissal of an employee on my team who I believe to be a nice and competent person for reasons that I personally perceive as an illegitimate and incredibly persistent campaign to unfairly take him as a scapegoat by the leadership of his former team who (in my opinion) are so desperate that they want to blame anyone for the most recent incident of, what I perceive to be, a toxic corporate culture perpetuating a cycle of serious mistakes dating back at least 4 years – well ahead of his time on this team and with causes far beyond his pay level.
The team member in question made mistakes, and when asked to publicly apologize for them despite having left that team, he volunteered and did so as the honorable individual that It is. Despite this, the senior members of this squad, in my opinion, waged a relentless scapegoat campaign to get him fired from my squad. I can only describe this behavior as cowardly, despicable, and shit.
There is more separation between our teams than is likely obvious to the public eye, and I sincerely hope this incident represents a unique foray of that culture into the Tanks team. I urge you not to judge the company as a whole by these actions, as there are thousands of dedicated employees at Wargaming who work really hard every day to give you the best possible experience. Wargaming contributes a lot to the living history of armored vehicles and, at least in my experience, treats employees very well. As my journey with World of Tanks comes to an end, I am confident that my team will recover and begin a successful new era in no time.

I am sorry to announce that I am resigning from my role as Senior Community and Events Manager on the World of Tanks Americas team. I won’t be appearing on official streams anymore, and unfortunately that means I won’t be attending Aquino Tank Weekend at the Ontario Regiment Museum next week (but you should go anyway, it’s gonna be awesome) . I have been with Wargaming for over 5 years and am proud of the work we have done, especially in rebuilding our operations after the move from Emeryville to Austin.
I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to advance my own career and interact with amazing and passionate people from all over the world. I have so much love for the bright and resilient people of Belarus, Ukraine, Brazil, Argentina and other countries after my time at Wargaming that it’s hard for me to express it. Of course, the same goes for our wonderful CCs and the WoT community in general – even the most salty of you will be missed.
