Marketbase Management

Johanna and Barry Stobbs founded Marketbase in Paris in 1984 and have worked together ever since as strategic marketing and communications specialists. Johanna is American and was born in New York. She was previously with J. Walter Thompson in Madrid, Spain. Barry is British and was a Vice-President of J. Walter Thompson before moving into financial and general management. Both have extensive marketing, research and communications experience in the American, European, Turkish and Russian markets.

The Team:
In addition to the founding partners, Marketbase works with an internationally-known food photographer, Alison Harris, and food writer, David Downie, as well as a graphic design studio, market researchers, a webmaster, translators and trade show professionals.
Marketbase is listed in the US government's Central Contractor Registration System.
